This is the prototype of a large commission through the Dovetails Gallery in Healdsburg. The chair is extremely complex due to the split laminated legs, the curved seat and the method for securing the upholstered back. The wood is rock maple with contrasting African Wenge finished with a hand rubbed lacquer.
